I can't believe I've been so slack. I have in fact knitted four pairs of socks since the last pair of small dragon socks that went to Australia.
The recipient was happy (they fitted her well) and my sister was happy too and sent me some Australian Dollars... yippy more yarn!
I've even given the socks away without photographing them.... both pairs went to our new friends from Nederlands. Originally they stayed with us through CouchSurfing and they are staying a few months in Wellington and are now boarding with our very good friend in Island Bay...it's an arrangement that suits everyone except it means we can't use Island Bay as a bolt hole when we have gaps in housesitting.
